Hypnogaja (pronounced hip-nō-gä-zhä) is an alt-rock band with a new, sci-fi tinged concept LP, TRUTH DECAY (co-produced by GRAMMY®-nominated writer/producer Jeeve), cited by Outburn magazine as “an expertly crafted album.”
An official showcase artist at SXSW ’10 and named Best Alternative Artist at the 2009 Hollywood Music in Media Awards, the Los Angeles, CA-based group has been featured by AOL Music, Apple, Microsoft’s Windows Media Guide and referred to by Hits magazine as “one to watch.”
Hypnogaja has grown its fan base through consistently touring the U.S. and Canada (opening for bands such as Shinedown, Saliva, godhead, Cold, 311) and through maintaining a presence on social media sites such as Twitter (where they’ve reached over 1 million followers).
Numerous hit TV shows, films and video games have featured Hypnogaja's tracks, including America's Next Top Model (CW), Sex And The City (HBO), FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage (Warner Bros.) and Tap Tap Revenge 3. ShyBoy, the band’s vocalist, is featured on the Sony soundtrack for the Capcom video game, The Devil May Cry 4.
